                    Well-known foreign anti-drilling rig manufacturers include SANDVIK, ATLAS, TAMROCK, WIRTH, INDAU, etc. Among them, the WIRTH company's HG380 reverse-drilling rig maintains the world record of 7.1m in diameter and 1260m in depth. Some models of reverse boring rigs have been introduced in China. However, due to the cost of foreign equipment being 4-10 times higher than domestic equipment and the high cost of equipment maintenance, accessories, management, etc., they are gradually being replaced by domestic reverse rigs.
                    The existing domestic LM series developed by Beijing China Coal Mine Engineering Co., Ltd. (Beijing Well Research Branch of China Coal Research Institute), AF series developed by Nanjing Research Institute of China Coal Research Institute, ATY series reverse well developed by Changsha Mine Research Institute The drilling rig is the main model for the construction of small and medium-sized reverse well projects such as coal mines. With the rapid development of the national economy and the pace of national infrastructure construction, a large number of construction projects such as coal mines, water conservancy and hydropower facilities, and traffic tunnels need to construct wellbores with a well depth of 200m or more, a diameter of 2m or more, and a rock compression strength of 200MPa or more. Domestic equipment is not suitable for these projects due to its insufficient design capabilities. For this reason, Beijing China Coal Mine Engineering Co., Ltd. has successively developed new BMC series reverse well drilling rigs since 2000. The maximum depth of the wellbore that has been constructed is 562m and the maximum diameter is 3.5. m, the hardest rock is 310MPa, which greatly expands the application range of domestic reverse rigs.
                    2 BMC series reverse well drilling rig design intent and characteristics In order to meet the application requirements of different wells in coal, hydropower, transportation and other industries, BMC series reverse well drilling rigs are insufficient for the capabilities of previous domestic models. Adaptability, adaptability to complex formations such as hard rock, and adaptability to international projects have been studied and improved. Its characteristics:
                    (1) Wide range of application. It can be used not only in soft rock formations such as coal mines, but also in hard rock formations with compressive strength of more than 310MPa, such as hydropower, transportation, etc., with a construction diameter of 5m and a depth of 600m.
                    (2) All construction operations are mechanized. The main engine lifting, drilling rod lifting, and screwing and unloading operations are all mechanically assisted, which greatly reduces the labor intensity of workers and improves the construction efficiency.
                    (3) High degree of automation control. Some advanced models use an electro-hydraulic control system, the operating volume is reduced to 1/5 of the original, and the weight is reduced to 1/10, and the orientation can be easily adjusted at any time; the programmable parameter control system automatically controls and records drilling parameters To avoid parameter selection errors caused by uneven operator levels.
                    (4) Intelligent accident prevention system. Through program control, safety conditions are set to effectively prevent accidents such as reversing during drilling, damage to the floating limit position of the power head, pressure drills during pilot hole drilling, and twisted drill rods during reaming.
                    (5) Assembled body and reaming bit structure. The large reverse rig adopts a detachable assembly structure, which is convenient for construction on working surfaces where space is limited. Large-diameter reaming drill bits adopt a stepped splicing structure. Through splicing, the required reaming diameter can be flexibly selected, which is convenient for transportation. , Installation, component replacement, and save the structure cost of the drill.
                    3 Main technical parameters and applicable scope of BMC series reverse rig

                    4 New type hard rock hob In recent years, with the rapid development of hydropower station construction, most underground projects of hydropower stations are constructed in hard rock, such as Sichuan Ziyili Hydropower Station, Jilin Baishan Hydropower Station, Fujian Muyangxi Hydropower Station, etc. are mostly granite strata. The rock is hard, the uniaxial compressive strength reaches 250MPa; the compressive strength of granite of Shandong Tai'an Pumped Storage Power Station reaches 310MPa, and the content of grainy minerals such as quartz and feldspar is above 70%. In the past, the life of ordinary hobs was only 5 to 10m, and the work efficiency was very low. The cost of rock breaking tools was more than 10,000 yuan per meter, and the reverse well rig could not be used as engineering equipment.
                    Aiming at the current problems of low rock breaking efficiency, short hob life, and high cost when drilling hard rock in reverse well construction, Beijing Zhongshan Coal Mine Engineering Co., Ltd. has developed a new type of pick-shaped tooth hob suitable for hard rock drilling. Tai'an pumped storage power station engineering application, the service life of more than 125m, and the application of different rock conditions in multiple hydropower stations, hard rock hob can meet the needs of different projects, solving the problem of drilling reverse wells in hard rock formations.
                    5 Application examples of BMC series reverse well drilling rigs Since 2005, BMC series reverse well drilling rigs have been successively applied in underground reverse well engineering in coal, hydropower, transportation and other industries, and the wellbore construction has been completed nearly 6000m.
                    (1) The shaft of the Pushihe Pumped Storage Power Station in Liaoning Province is mainly composed of granite, granite gneiss, and basalt, and is constructed with a BMC 300 reverse well drilling rig with a pilot hole diameter of 244mm, a reamed diameter of 1.4m, and a drilling depth 213.9m, pure construction period of 27d, pure construction efficiency of 238m / month, of which guide hole drilling is 14d, construction speed is 0.64m / h; reaming drilling is 13d, construction speed is 0.69m / h, comprehensive drilling deviation rate is 0.44 %, Which not only meets the engineering requirements, but also has fast construction speed, high drilling accuracy, and good well formation quality.
                    (2) Xiaodongshan ventilation shaft of Sihe Mine, Jinmei Group, Shanxi Province. The stratum is a sedimentary rock with relatively low hardness. The BMC 400 reverse well drilling rig is used to complete the two ventilations with a depth of 267m, a diameter of 2.5m, a depth of 269m and a diameter of 3.5m. In wells, the average pilot hole drilling speed is 0.62m / h, the average reaming drilling speed is 0.48m / h, and the comprehensive deflection rate of the borehole is 0.26%. It is the largest one-time reaming diameter reverse well project completed in China.
                    (3) The Qinling Zhongnanshan Extra-long Tunnel is a controlled project crossing the main ridge of the Qinling Mountains from the Xi'an to Ankang Expressway. The length of the main tunnel is 18020m and the total length of the double tunnel is 36040m. World number one. Beijing Zhongshan Coal Mine Engineering Co., Ltd. undertakes the inverse well drilling construction of No. 1 and No. 3 shaft guide shafts. The guide shaft formation is mainly composed of mixed granite and mixed gneiss. Among them, the No. 1 shaft is constructed with a BMC 300 reverse shaft drilling rig. Guided wells with a diameter of 1.4m and a depth of 170m were drilled, with a combined well speed of 4.36m / d and a drilling deflection rate of 0.27%; the No. 3 shaft was constructed with a BMC 400 reverse well drill rig and drilled into a guided well with a diameter of 1.4m and a depth of 380m. The formation speed is 4.87 m / d, and the drilling deviation is 1.0%.
                    6 Conclusions (1) With the development of energy in China, there are a large number of underground projects in coal, hydropower, metallurgy and other fields, and the application range of reverse rigs will be increasingly expanded.
                    (2) The BMC series of reverse well drilling rigs have reached the advanced level in the application of reverse well drilling rig technology in terms of construction capacity, mechanization and degree of automation, providing safe and efficient construction conditions for underground wellbore engineering in many industries.
                    (3) Engineering application shows that the pick-shaped hob cutter teeth arrangement structure is reasonable, and the rock breaking efficiency and service life can meet the requirements of high-speed drilling in medium hard and hard rock.
                    (4) In the future, research and improvement of deep well reverse well drilling technology should be strengthened, so that BMC series reverse well drilling rigs will play a greater role in underground engineering construction.


                    The research and application of anti-drilling rig technology began in the 1950s and 1960s, and has been widely used in underground engineering at home and abroad in the fields of mining, municipal administration, hydropower and transportation. Compared with the traditional construction methods such as wood stack method, hanging tank method and climbing tank method, the use of reverse rig technology to construct vertical and inclined shafts has the advantages of safety, speed, and smooth shaft walls.
